Fresh off the back of our most popular brand, Nerd Pervert. We have been doing this for 13 years now. At the same time, we had all these other ideas that we wanted to do. How will we have the time? Then we decided what if these new ideas where all part of the world we created with Nerd Pervert. What if, these other characters and brand ideas populated the same world as the Nerd Pervert? The first porn shared universe. Where characters could meet and show up in their own brands and stand on their own, but at the same time, cross over and meet other characters from other shows. This idea single handedly helped us to devise a plan that we are now shooting for one big brand, not separate ones, and it’s a case of which brand is the next part of the next chapter of the bigger story we want to tell? We also plan to have one-off Dusk Films originals that will start off as one-off creative ideas, to test them with our audience, if they want more further down the line, well then we can make that more of a miniseries or even a full on brand, further down the line. Dusk Films originals allows us to play with one off ideas, that creatively are just good for us to experiment and not worry about the wider DFPU (Dusk Films Porn Universe). Standalone stories will still be in DFPU just not directly as referenced as much as the other brands that were so apparently referenced from the start.
